Hi everyone, glad to be on here with some knowledgeable gunsmiths. Have just installed a Kart Easy fit barrel on a 1911 A-1 and it shoots great. Ran about 50 rounds of 230 grain hardball through it to seat everything. going to install a high rise grip safety and hammer....some suggestions about this install before I get started.

I would recommend trying to use a .250 radius and get the little jig from brownells. It makes it easy to cut/file the radius.
